Beating Retreat 2022 - Annual musical extravaganza along with Drone Show The spectacular BeatingRetreat marks the formal conclusion of Republic Day celebrations. It takes place on the evening of January 29th, the third day after Republic Day. It is played by bands from the IndianArmy, IndianNavy, and IndianAirForce, as well as Army pipe bands and, beginning in 2016, a mass formation of bands from the Central Armed Police Forces and the Delhi Police. Raisina Hills and a neighbouring square, Vijay Chowk, are located towards the end of Rajpath and are flanked by the north and south blocks of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
