Latest Rare Cask - The Glenlivet Limited Edition Duty Free Exclusive

In honour of the Year of the Rabbit, THE GLENLIVET is releasing a limited-edition, duty-free bottling known as the "Rare Cask." This is part of the Lunar New Year celebrations and to usher in "The Year of the Rabbit," The Glenlivet has released a limited-edition bottle for sale only at airport gift shops. The best expression of the Triple Cask Project, The Glenlivet Rare Cask, is included in this holiday bundle.

While all of The Glenlivet's whiskies are aged in oak barrels, the complexity of the cask influence is at the heart of The Glenlivet Triple Cask Project, making for a special range and experimental maturation process. Everything in the line has a backstory explaining how the use of three different barrels allows for more nuanced and original flavour profiles. The set features three unique single malts and encourages consumers to try something new while also contemplating the transformative potential of a fresh outlook. There's the Distiller's Reserve, the White Oak Reserve, and the Rare Cask, all from The Glenlivet.

Perfect for the Lunar New Year, The Glenlivet Rare Cask expression is released in small, numbered quantities after being aged in carefully selected first-fill ex-sherry casks. Peaches in syrup aromas mingle with ginger spice undertones on the nose. The flavour is well-balanced, with traces of spice in the lingering, fruity aftertaste. Think orange marmalade with a toasty vanilla and licorice twist.

The limited-edition packaging, featuring the rabbit symbol, celebrates the dynamic and vibrant journey of the Rare Cask liquor, which was aged in three different types of barrels so that three streams of blessings might flow into the new year.

Available at a retail price of USD$124 (1L), the Glenlivet Rare Cask can be purchased in a variety of airports and duty-free shops across the globe.
