What is Instagram Threads? Instagram Threads is a standalone app that allows you to stay connected with your closest friends. It's a more personal and private way to chat, share photos and videos, and see what's going on in your friends' lives. Threads is integrated with Instagram, so you can easily share your Stories and posts with your close friends. You can also use Threads to send direct messages, just like you would on Instagram. How to use Instagram Threads To use Instagram Threads, you first need to download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
