Google has been surprising us by the way the search results are displayed. With the latest update there is no need to get into play store for searching for an apps. Searching an application from "Chrome" will list a set of apps releated to the key word and also you will be able to browse all the apps by clicking on "more apps". The application are Classified under " Apps" section in search results. It's a good move as we don't need to be in the play store for searching an apps. Also this shows the focus on Apps search.
