Uber Technologies Inc., is a transportation
service for hailing a ride, founded in 2008, by Travis Kalanick and Garrett
Camp, with headquarters in San Francisco, California. This service is
functional in 633 cities across the world. Uber is available to use on iOS and
android smartphones with the application or mobile website. Uber is an
economical and eco-friendly service. UberX is a service which provides people
with a car to drive for Uber using their own car or by hiring a car. UberPool
is a carpool service that filters people with similar ride routes. UberChopper
is a helicopter service partnered with Blade to reduce traffic. Uber rides are
charges are fixed on the application and are displayed upfront before booking a
ride.
Uber is currently available on the IOS appstore
and google play store. Download the application from your app store and
register with Uber. Payment for rides can be done by cash or cashless; Credit
Card, Debit Card or PayTM. Uber is an application in development with 100

hailing service like Uber Eats, Uber Rush Etc. Uber Eats is a food delivery
platform launched by Uber Technologies Inc., San Francisco, California. This
service can be used on the website and application on iOS and Android. This
application connects users with local restaurants to order food at the touch of
a finger available on iOS and Android. To use Uber Eats, download the
application from your application store. Existing Uber customers can login with
their Uber Account, otherwise create an Uber Eats account and add your delivery
location. Payment for UberEats can be done by cash or cashless; credit card,
debit card or PayPal, depending on the country the service is being used in. UberEats
charges Rs.1 to delivery food.
Uber Rush is an on-demand delivery service
where a package will be delivered in the same way that its trackable by the
app. Setting up to deliver a package only takes a few minutes, in case, of
fragile or care-needed package, this can be notified to the company and the
package will be handled with care. This service is very useful for small
business’ to deliver as they usually don’t have a delivery service. Uber Rush
is currently limited to Chicago, San Francisco and New York. The packages are
delivered by cars, bikes and by foot.
