Class I Kendriya Vidyalaya Enrollment Is Conducted Online; Enrollment in Other Grades Occurs Conventionally. Kendriya Vidyalaya School (KVS) will soon release information about applying for the upcoming 2023–24 school year. Applicants can access the online admission application through the KVS website (kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in). - A student must be between the ages of six and eight on March 31 of the school year in which they are applying for admission to Class I at a Kendriya Vidyalaya in 2023. Children who were born on April 1st are also welcome to apply. To be eligible for the Class 1 admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya, the child must have completed five years of age as on 31st March 2023.
The minimum and maximum age limits for Kendriya Vidyalaya School admission to each class are as follows:
- Class 1: Minimum 6 years, maximum 8 years
- Class 2: Minimum 7 years, maximum 9 years
- Class 3: Minimum 7 years, maximum 9 years

- You are strongly advised NOT to submit multiple applications to the same Vidyalaya for the same child. If multiple registration forms are submitted for the same child in the same Kendriya Vidyalaya, only the last application will be considered in admission process.
In a double shift Kendriya Vidyalaya, each shift will be treated as separate Vidyalaya for admission purpose. - The definition/eligibility criteria of Disadvantaged Group/Weaker Section/BPL/OBC (Non-creamy layer) will be as per the notification of the concerned State Governments. (The DC KVS RO Concerned may issue guidelines regarding BPL/EWS as per the latest notification of the concerned State Governments).
